About Me
I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Center for Equity, Gender, and Leadership at Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. In my research, I examine the effects of gender on workplace outcomes. My research interests stem from a desire to understand differences in the workplace experiences of men and women and to conduct research that will help organizations extend equal treatment to men and women. In my empirical work, I have examined gender by itself and in interaction with physical attractiveness as a determinant of individual outcomes. I have also developed an ancillary interest in the relationship between physical attractiveness and organizational outcomes.
I attended the Hotel School at Cornell University for my undergraduate studies, and prior to starting my doctoral studies, I worked at the Center for Decision Sciences at Columbia Business School as a lab manager.
